Over the weekend 66 employees of Vision Truck, Brampton voted in favour of a first Collective Agreement. In addition to annual wage increases, the 4-year agreement provides for a wage scale, apprenticeship language, fixed shifts, increased vacations and much more. “This is a solid first agreement and a win for our newest members,” said District 78 Directing Business Representative Kim Valliere.
The negotiations committee of Reynaldo Carbajal and William Luna did a great job in representing the interests of their members”, said IAM District 78 Representative Eric Johnston, who, along with Valliere, chaired the union committee.
The 66 members joined the IAM in September 2021 and are part of IAM Local 235.
Vision Truck is located in Brampton and provides sales, service and parts to the trucking industry.
