Dave Flowers Meets with Atlantic Members

On August 14 and 15, President and Directing General Chairperson (PDGC) Brother Dave Flowers, joined by Atlantic General Chairperson Brother Chris Lipsit and District 140 Executive Board member Brother Jeremy Currie, made his first official visit to Air Canada’s C-Bases on Canada’s East Coast.

The four bases that comprise the Atlantic region—Fredericton, Moncton and Saint John in New Brunswick, and Charlottetown, PEI—welcomed the delegation as they toured each facility. On the shop floor: Dave, Chris and Jeremy engaged directly with members, staff, stewards and Health & Safety representatives, listening carefully to local concerns and answering questions.

Throughout the visit, Flowers emphasized on the critical need for solidarity ahead of upcoming contract negotiations and invited members to raise any issue affecting their base. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with Atlantic members expressing gratitude that the PDGC Brother Dave flowers took the time to visit smaller, more remote bases and spend meaningful time alongside the membership.
