Mississauga, ON – Members of IAM Local Lodge 1922 have ratified a new collective agreement with Schmoltz-Bickenbach Canada.
The five-year agreement provides wage increases of 1.75 per cent in each of the first two years and 1.5 per cent in years three, four and five respectively. Other agreement highlights include:
- Substantial benefits improvements
- Improved overtime language
“The negotiation committee of Daniel Robinson and Tyler Park brought a clear understanding to the bargaining table of what their members needed to see in a new collective agreement,” explained IAM District Lodge 78 Directing Business Representative Derek Ferguson.
The 18 members provide saw cutting and machining services of specialty steels for the Canadian tool steel industry.
