Cambridge, ON – Members of IAM Local Lodge 2707 have ratified a new collective agreement with Kromet International.
The three-year agreement provides wage improvements, pension improvements, shift premium improvements and benefit improvements amounting to three per cent in each year. Other agreement highlights include shift language improvements, increased safety glass allowance, increased safety boot allowance and improved agreement language addressing grievance resolution and communication.
The 170 members manufacture high-end appliance handles, decorative aluminum and stainless steel trim for appliances, microwave trim kits, kitchen vents, automotive step rails and roof racks, urban transit hardware and luggage racks and lighting components and assemblies.
