Late last week the 20 members of IAM Union Local 2332 in Sault Ste Marie, ON working at Superior Chrysler ratified a new 3-year collective agreement. In addition to annual wage increases the members seen improvements to vision care, safety boot allowance and training per diems. “These members knew that they wanted a significant wage increase in the first year, and they stuck to that demand until it was achieved”, stated IAM Canada representative Scott Jackson.
Superior Chrysler is the auto dealership for Chrysler products in Sault Ste Marie. Our members provide service and maintenance for Chrysler vehicles.
The IAM represents more than 1500 automotive workers on Vancouver Island and the lower mainland of British Columbia, in Fort Frances, Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and Toronto in Ontario as well as in New Brunswick and Newfoundland.
