Whitby, ON. – Members of IAM Local Lodge 905 have ratified a new collective agreement with AeroTek Manufacturing Limited.
The three-year agreement provides for a 2.5 per cent signing bonus for A level employees and wage increases of 2.5 per cent in the first year and 2 per cent in the second and third year respectively. The current average wage rate is $20.91 per hour.
The 14 members perform a diverse variety of electroplating, anodizing, chemical conversions, paint and ion vapour deposition of aluminum as well as ancillary services, including blasting, hydrogen de-embrittlement, heat-treatment, cleaning, maintenance repair and overhaul and sub-assembly of aerospace components.
AeroTek is a participant of Bombardier Aerospace 5-star supplier program.
