Burlington, On – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 2330 have ratified a new collective agreement with H & H Manufacturing.
The three-year agreement provides a wage freeze in the first year and wage increases of 1.5 per cent or 30 cents per hour in the second and third years respectively. Other agreement highlights include :
• 90 per cent increase in pension contributions over the life of the agreement
• Family Day added as a statutory holiday
The 25 members manufacture buckets for backhoes and front end loaders used in the construction industry.
IAMAW, among the largest industrial trade unions in North America, represents more than 700,000 active and retired members, and administers more than 5,000 contracts in transportation, woodworking, aerospace, manufacturing and defense related industries.
