Montréal, QC – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 1758 have ratified a new collective agreement with BOMBARDIER CTM.
The six-year agreement provides wage increases of 2 per cent in each year from 2012 to 2015 respectively, 2.5 per cent in 2016 and 2.75 per cent in 2017. Other agreement high lights include :
• Increased vacation time beginning in 2014
• Implementation of Flexible Time
• Creation of a position for the Employees Aid Program
• Creation of a position of Health and Safety Representative
• Increase of shift premium to $ .80 per hour in 2012, $ .85 per hour in 2014
• Cell Lead Hand premium increased to $1.25 per hour

The 45 members manufacture aviation tubing for such aircraft as the Bombardier C-Series commercial airliner. They ratified the agreement by a margin of 86.8 per cent.
