Toronto, ON – The members of IAM Local lodge 235 have ratified a new collective agreement with Metrolinx/Go Transit.
The four-year agreement provides wage increases of 1.5 per cent in the first and second years respectively, 1.75 per cent in the third year and 2 per cent in the fourth year. Other agreement highlights include :
- Improved health benefits
- Maternity pay top up
- Increased shift premiums
- Numerous contract language improvements
“Negotiating committee members Donna Martin, Nadine Davenport and Lisa Hughes were instrumental in ensuring these improvements were won for our members,” said IAM District 78 Business Representative Kim Valliere.
The sixty members are employed as customer contact personnel at the Metrolinx/Go Transit operations in Toronto.
