Mississauga, ON – Members of IAMAW Local Lodge 1922 have ratified a new three-year agreement with Scmoltz-Bickenbach Limited.
The agreement provides no wage increase in the first year, a 1.25 per cent wage increase in the second year and a 1.5 per cent wage increase in the third year as well as a .5 per cent increase in pension contributions in the third year. “This agreement is a reflection of the current economic times the membership finds itself in,” explained IAMAW District 78 Directing Business Representative Gary Hynes.
The 12 members consist of C&C Operators who perform custom cutting and boring of specialized aluminum blocks for a variety of Ontario industries.
