Matthew Brito Morgani awarded the IAM Scholarship to Pursue an Engineering Journey at U of T

The IAM is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Matthew Brito Morgani, son of Francesco Morgani; a dedicated member of IAM Local 2323 for 25 years and an employee at Air Canada Cargo at Toronto Pearson Airport.

Matthew has been awarded an IAM Union Scholarship, recognizing his academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community.

This fall, he will begin his studies at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering, one of Canada’s most prestigious engineering programs.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Matthew is deeply engaged in his school and community. He serves as Vice-President of his high school’s Chess Club, and volunteers as an assistant coach for an under-15 hockey team; a role he takes great pride in, mentoring younger players and sharing his love of the game.

Congratulations to Matthew and the Morgani family! IAM Canada is proud to support bright young minds like Matthew who are shaping the future through education, leadership, and community spirit.
