Toronto, ON – One of the highlights of the Canadian Staff Conference held June 1-4, 2016 in Toronto were the service awards given to members of the IAM Canadian staff. This year 52 members of staff representing more than 1,450 years of service to the IAM were honoured. The pins and certificates were presented by IAM Canadian General Vice President Stan Pickthall.
Recipients for 15 years of service included Frank Saptel, Gord Falconer, Sam Jabbar and Andrew Tricker;
Recipients for 20 years of service were Robert Croteau, Mike Corrado, Talwinder Rayat, Paul Pelletreau, Reo Elkin, Pierre Grenier and Neil Giroux;
Recipients for Pins and Certificates for 25 years of service included Rick Arsenault, Ralph Martin, Pete Topetto, Kevin Clark, Daniel Uchacz, Roy Bhansingh, Kim Valliere, Mona Burke, Fred Hospes, Tania Canniff, Todd Haverstock, Lou Pagrach, Cordell Draayers, Ed Delaporte and David Chartrand;
Recipients for Pins and Certificates for 30 years of service include Stan Pickthall, Scott Jackson, Derek Ferguson, Jim Snider and Ken Russell;
Recipients for Pins and Certificates for 35 years of service include Lou Erlichman, Tony Didoshak, Heather Kelley, Paul Lefebvre, Ronald Rawding, Glen Tomchak, Walter Gerlach, Dale Gentile, Alain Cyr, John Humphrey, Michel Richer, Gerald Tremblay, Claude Boisvert, Pierre Brisbois, Denis Longtin and Robert Savoie;
Recipients for Pins and Certificates for 40 years of service include Dave Ritchie, Carlos DaCosta, Gary Hynes and Robert MacKinnon;
Ron Fontaine received a Pin and Certificate for 45 years of service .
