Duncan, BC – Members of IAM Local Lodge 692 have ratified a new collective agreement with Pro Mac Manufacturing.

The members are traditionally the highest paid on Vancouver Island and this agreement maintains that distinction.

The agreement provides wage increases of 3 per cent the first year, 2.5 per cent the second year and 2 per cent in the third year. The agreement also provides a Retirement Savings contribution of $108.00 monthly as well as monthly bonuses of up to $140.00. Other agreement highlights include :
Overtime meal allowances increased to $20
Custom ear plug subsidy
Clarification of conditions of Part Time employment for retired members.

“Considering the low inflation climate of the economy, these are significant increases,” said IAM District Lodge 250 Business Representative Alastair Haythornthwaite.

Pro Mac Manufacturing is the largest independent machine shop/fabrication shop on Vancouver Island. Our members undertake everything from precision machining, gear cutting and major fabrication to field repairs.
