Congratulations to each of them for their dedication and commitment to defending the rights of their sisters and brothers and upholding the collective agreement. A sincere thank you as well to trainers Alessandro Bernardelli and Christian Bilodeau, along with Michel Vincent who served as trainer and observer, for their excellent leadership and support throughout the training.
The role of a shop steward is at the core of union strength. As frontline representatives in the workplace, stewards are in daily contact with members and play a critical role in protecting rights and improving working conditions. Providing access to quality training ensures they are well-equipped to serve; an investment that strengthens our entire union.
