RE: The new IAM Canadian Journal and APP
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Good things take time and in the case of the new IAM Canada Journal app, I believe that phrase applies.
I am pleased to announce that the new IAM Canada Journal app is available for your viewing on your iPAD or Android tablet
With the publication of our first tablet edition, the IAM becomes the first Union in Canada to offer a tablet-based app to inform its membership Soon, the tablet app will be joined by an app that can be viewed on your smartphone.
In the last Canadian IAM Journal mailed to all Canadian IAM members last December, I advised that this would be the last printed issue of the magazine. It has been replaced with a new web-based application which enables IAM members to use their iPad and Android tablets to read the IAM Journal, act decisively on vital issues, share information with friends and family and help us organize new members.
The Canadian National website now has links to Apple’s iTunes Store and the Android Market where the new IAM Canada Journal app can be downloaded. With the new IAM Canada Journal app, new issues of IAM Journal will be published more often. Once members have downloaded the new IAM Canada Journal app, tablet users will be notified automatically when a new issue is available for downloading. The new IAM Canada Journal app will also be available on our Canadian National website in a PDF format that can be printed so you can share it with other members.
