IAM Local 2797 members working at NSTU ratify new agreement

 IAM members from Local 2797 working for the Nova Scotia Teachers’ Union (NSTU) ratified a new contract last week. There were a number of improvements to their contract which saw the agreement ratified by a large margin. IAM District 250 organizes Kal Tire workers in four British Columbia locations

Burnaby, BC — IAM District 250 has successfully organized Kal Tire workers from three locations in British Columbia—Grimmer Street (Burnaby), Clark Drive, and Boundary Road (Vancouver)—into its existing union certification.
