 IAM members from Local 2797 working for the Nova Scotia Teachers’ Union (NSTU) ratified a new contract last week. There were a number of improvements to their contract which saw the agreement ratified by a large margin. Burnaby, BC — IAM District 250 has successfully organized Kal Tire workers from three locations in British Columbia—Grimmer Street (Burnaby), Clark Drive, and Boundary Road (Vancouver)—into its existing union certification.
