Winnipeg, MB. – The 221 members of the IAM Local Lodge 2603 employed by Air Canada Finance division have ratified a new 10 year collective agreement with the airline.
This agreement provides these members with job security, wage improvements and increases to benefits. This agreement also has two re-openers which allows our members the chance to renegotiate certain improvements to the contract.
“This is another historic deal for the IAM with Air Canada” said Transportation District Lodge 140 General Chairperson Keith Aiken. “This agreement provides our members with items that they gave up through rounds of concessionary bargaining. I am very proud of my negotiations team for their hard work throughout the negotiations process”.
The IAM, the largest union at Air Canada representing more than 8,000 workers, is also the largest union in the Canadian Air Transport Sector.
