Members of IAM Local 1922 UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers) National Representatives have ratified a new three-year collective agreement.
The negotiating committee secured gains in wages, as well as enhanced health and welfare allowances and increased mileage reimbursement.
The agreement also includes improvements to compensatory time, vacation entitlements, bereavements provisions, and strengthened language on long-term disability.
IAM International Representative Kim Valliere emphasized the collaborative nature of the outcome, stating: “The hard work and dedication of this committee, along with the support of the bargaining unit, were instrumental in achieving these gains.”
This new agreement reflects a collective effort to strengthen working conditions and enhance long-term protections for members.
