Local 1857 Members Host CLC President Bea Bruske

IAM Union members of Local 1857 at Berks Intertruck in Duncan recently welcomed Bea Bruske, President of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), for a visit that led to important discussions on workers’ rights, solidarity, and the future of the labour movement. LECO INC, workers secure a new 4-year agreement

Meeting in assembly on March 12, the 34 members of the LECO Inc. unit, affiliated with Local 712 (L-712) of IAM, accepted their new contract with a 90% approval rate. The new agreement provides for an 11.5% increase in the wage bill over the duration of the contract.
