Machinists Expand Again in Health Care Sector

Wednesday January 22, 2014   For Immediate Release     Hamilton, ON – Fifty Patient Transfer Attendants employed by Event Medical are the newest members of IAM Local Lodge 1295.    Event Medical was purchased by Spectrum Patient Services (formerly Ontario Patient Transfer) on January 10, 2014. The IAM represents more than 250 employees at Spectrum.   Event Medical provides non-ambulatory patient transfer service in Hamilton and the Niagara Region.
